Amplifier:	Hafler HA-75 amp feeding the Shure KSE1200 electrostatic amp. Crossfeed and bass boost are used on the Hafler. Most headphones IMHO need some kind of bass boost.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated):	Black Ice Soundstage expander feeding a BBE Sonic Maximizer. Must haves IMHO for headphones.
Speakers:	KSE1200 Electrostatic earbuds or various other earbuds or over ears.
Sources:
CD Player/DAC:	All computer based 44.1 files. Player/ OS is windows with Hysolid and ipad control. Two computers are used, one general one for youtube and movies/TV/Amazon music, etc that feeds a Tascam DA-3000 through Dante audio (Digital Audio Networked through Ethernet) via AES/EBU XLR. Stored Music is done through Dante to a Border Patrol SE dac via coax. The Tascam and Border Patrol feed the Black Ice Soundstage expander through inputs one and 2.

Music Used (Genre/Selections):	80s goth darkwave industrial techno pop
System Goals/Comments:	Clean but not fatiguing, more analog than digital
System Strengths:	very clear and wide soundstage at least for cans. Great bass and clarity. Electrostatic earbuds have surprisingly awesome bass
System Weaknesses:	Built over time. Better to wait for the dough and then buy better gear. Instead of 10 headphones, one good one...one great dac vs. 3 good ones, etc.
