Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, especially chamber and instrumental; starting to discover jazz.
System Goals/Comments: System must do timbre of individual instruments well and have body and "kick" but also let you hear them sing and hear the space they are playing in. Ideal is what a good concert hall sounds like. Choice of music is paramount, so must have LP, CD, SACD and hi-rez downloads.
System Strengths: Well optimized I think given my budget, living space, and listening priorities. Feeling like I'm in a very good place with the main components, but attention to cabling, power conditioning, component supports, etc., even the CD mat, has also been very important.
System Weaknesses: Sound via USB is definitely not as good as from the other sources. I could probably do better with room acoustic treatments but would need advice. Being a renter limits what I can do here.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Samsung MU6300 40" TV
