|Music Used (Genre/Selections):||'80's rock (INXS, U2, Cure, etc.)|
techno (Front 242, Chemical Brothers)
jazz (Bluesiana, kd lang)
|System Goals/Comments:||This system sounds quite good and is just about perfect for the size room it is in.|
|System Strengths:||1) sounds very good, especially realistic on vocal, folk, and jazz music|
2) Price. The complete system was around $3000.
|System Weaknesses:||1) could be more convincing on full scale classical music|
2) small speakers limit maximum volume and impact.
3) imaging isn't the best--mostly due to speaker placement and seating position, I think.
4) Old cheap turntable. Is next component to be upgraded.
|Video/HT System: None|
