Room Size (LxWxH): 16 x 15 x 10
Room Comments/Treatments: Old house with wood floors and high ceilings.
Entire end wall where speakers are is a bay window.
Two walls have large thruways, so room is actually fairly open.
12' from speakers to main listening position.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): '80's rock (INXS, U2, Cure, etc.)

techno (Front 242, Chemical Brothers)

folk/roots

jazz (Bluesiana, kd lang)
System Goals/Comments: This system sounds quite good and is just about perfect for the size room it is in.
System Strengths: 1) sounds very good, especially realistic on vocal, folk, and jazz music

2) Price. The complete system was around $3000.
System Weaknesses: 1) could be more convincing on full scale classical music

2) small speakers limit maximum volume and impact.

3) imaging isn't the best--mostly due to speaker placement and seating position, I think.

4) Old cheap turntable. Is next component to be upgraded.
Video/HT System: None
