techno (Front 242, Chemical Brothers)

folk/roots

jazz (Bluesiana, kd lang)
System Goals/Comments: This system sounds quite good and is just about perfect for the size room it is in.

my goals are:

1. clarity and tonal accuracy from all sources.

2. decent recording ability

System Strengths: 1) sounds very good, especially on vocal, folk, and jazz music

2) price. The complete system was around $2000.
System Weaknesses: 1) could be more convincing on full scale classical music

2) small speakers limit maximum volume and impact.

3) very poor imaging--mostly due to speaker placement I think
Video/HT System: None
