| Amplifier: | Triamp System - High pass amps: Plitron/Vanderveen specialist series toroids OPT PAT2100CFB based monoblocks with four Svetlana KT88's and four 5692's in a fully balanced/diffential configuration per channel. No global feedback. Bandpass (40-290 Hz)or Bryston 2BSST/2 - Bryston 4B SST/2 driving the two JBL 2245H woofers directly (40-290 Hz). Two Denon POA-6600 for driving two JBL SUB-1500's below 40 Hz. Also, for high pass, sometimes use a fully balanced differential push-pull tube power amps, using four 6550c's and two Citation II output transformers per channel in class A. Tube amps have four separate power supplies and are fully tube regulated. |
| Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): | Mark Levinson 326S or an octal 5691/6DN7 based, balanced output with active tube decoupling of each stage.MM phono preamps are solid state negative impedance design for the Stanton and Shure cartridges. Also use a Linn Linto and a DIY passive tube phono preamp. |
| Speakers: | Above 40 Hz, JBL 4345 with TAD HF Be drivers, Hovland crossover caps. Below 40 Hz, two JBL SUB-1500's in sealed 3 cu. ft boxes. |
