Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Jazz, rock, world, classic soul from 60s and 70s, classical, soundtracks, funk, disco, some adult contemporary and New Age. Lots of vocals.
System Goals/Comments: Realism - live in the listening room.
System Strengths: Vivid, dynamic and lively with the TT - really deep and wide soundstage with lots of layering and realistic, palpable instruments and vocals; the ATR tape machine has damned good sound at 15 ips. Insanely good sound at 30 ips!!!
System Weaknesses: With TT: Not the last word in imaging (yet) and bass.
On the ATR: none that I really care about!
Video/HT System: None
