Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): all types
System Goals/Comments: This little system is perfect for occasional listening in the bedroom.
System Strengths: Inexpensive and sounds good in the small room.
System Weaknesses: Sound quality is fine considering its age and cost.
However:
The woofers in the KEFs have been replaced with inexpensive aftermarket ones of the same type, so you can't crank it, although they work just fine at low to moderate levels.
Also, the tuner is surprisingly weak. Have to leave it in mono on some FM stations.
But the old analogue silver receiver and bronze tapedeck give joy to look at and use.
Video/HT System: None
