Music Used (Genre/Selections): Modern/contemp./20th centr. classical, Film soundtrack, electronica, trance, psy, some rock/pop
System Goals/Comments: Increase system ergonomics while decreasing audio system's size/footprint ... e.g., iPad instead of CD player.
Increase economy (bang-for-buck) via more DIY projects; better web research (reading reviews, posting queries online, etc.) for decision-making.
System Strengths: Sonics: Neutrality, accuracy
Economic: bang-for-buck
System Weaknesses: Takes up space; DIY components older and unattractive
Video/HT System: Integrated
Other HT Gear: Most of my listening now via headphones and IEMs. Either thru computer (at home) or (when outside) HQ iPod-like devices, like HiFi Man
