Rufixer's Office / Computer (Living room STEREO) System
IP Address: 98.232.193.74 Last Update: April 24, 2015 at 16:54:51
Amplifier: NAD 2600 Power Envelope
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Essentially, I am using a Marantz 2230 as a PRE-AMP.....BUT, I am outputing it through the Tape out jacks TO a Carver MXR 130 Receiver SO THAT I can gain extra inputs available by using the Carver as the second of a TWO stage pre-amp strategy simply because I needed TWO more source inputs.

Phono preamp, AM-FM radio, Aux (CD Changer) input from Marantz 2230 Receiver

From Marantz Tape OUT jacks TO>Carver MXR 130 Receiver AUX Inputs. (Gets the Marantz sourced inputs on-board, (switching per Marantz). The Carver provides additional inputs from cable box (Xfinity) and Blu-Ray) Now we go to the STEREO amp.....EXCEPT for the headphone rig. I'm a Grado guy and I LOVE my SR 80e's. They come out of the Marantz because I kept the link from pre-out to main in intact( remember, I exited the Marantz via the TAPE OUT jacks) keeping the Marantz 30 watt power section in play, essential if you want to use the Marantz Stereo Phone Jack as your Headphone source/amp. Sounds very SWEET to me. The GRADO'S are truly excellent.
Speakers: NAD 2.5 (originals)
Available: M&K Original active Volkswoofer III and/or PSB SubOne i

For audio sources, these NAD 2.5 need NO help. Good down to 30 Hz or under..........
