Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): I really love it all. Provided it's well played and acceptably produced I can get into it. I'll listen to 'average' productions if the performance is great. When its a great performance AND a great recording that really gets the juices flowing. Especially get off on female vocals (Diana Krall, Eva Cassidy, etc)
System Goals/Comments: I'm fairly happy with it. Soundstage a little shallow because loudspeakers are too close to the rear wall (30' - the WAF is a bugger, isn't it?). Not overly worried about that because it's like that at live concerts, too. Bass very satisfying and musical, although only down to 32Hz, which only becomes a problem with a very few of my albums
System Strengths: Holographic midrange, does the 'disappearing act', effortless presentation, 'forward' open sound, solid palpable bass presentation. I'm yet to hear another system match it's stunning midrange performance. This system is smooth and I can listen for hours (even CD's). It gets my foot tapping and conveys enough emotion to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up
System Weaknesses: Soundstage a little shallow due to loudspeakers too close to rear wall (soundstage height and width are huge, though)
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Pioneer PDP-436HD plasma screen
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Yamaha RX-V659
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Artison Portrait main and centre, Artison LRS-IW rears, Yamaha YST-SW100 sub woofer
Sources (DVD/VCR): Pioneer DVR-540H DVD recorder

Other HT Gear: Topfield TF7000HT high definition digital set-top box
Comments on HT System: Heh, it's only a TV, but it keeps me amused
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Accountant (boring, I know), skiing (snow), travel, fine food and good wine, live theatre. (oh, and music)
