Amplifier: This is my BottleHead Paraglow with 3 Watts via a 2A3 Power tube. It's all about that first watt. I've measured what kind of power I'm using at ear-splitting volumes and I've never hit the 2 watt mark! Photobucket

Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): EAR 834L Line stage preamp + EAR 834P Phono Stage/I'm using 3 NOS Sylvannia 5751s in 834P
Speakers: This generally is how my new/old room looks as of 3/19/2009. The late great Terry Cain developed the single diver Voight Pipe "Abby" after years of research and several trips to Japan. They're 6' tall with a port at the bass for the lower frequencies. I think they're gorgeous.
CD Player/DAC: Dell 10" Mini Laptop with FOOBAR as my player, using a 24-96 Tubed CAL DAC via Bogdan "Silverstreaks" cables into the EAR 834L. The Player/DAC sits atop a "Signal Guard" Isolation Platform with PolyCrystal cones!! Sonic Horizon "DayBreak" low current power cord connected from DAC directly into my PS Audio Power Plant 300 w/ MultiWave. I have 4 TeraBits of music files on a computer network. I haven't played a CDP in over two years.
Turntable/Phono Stage: Nottingham Space Deck/Graham 2.2 Tone arm/ IC-70 Phono cables/ 2 extra arm wands/ Lyra Helikon Mono/ Benz Ruby II/ Shelter 5000/ Koetsu Urishi Tsugaru LOMC Cartridges/ Thank God for the Asian Grey Market!! Things have changed a bit. I now have an external SUT made up of a pair of Jensen 44K-DX transformers thank's to a great friend who made the unit for me. My Urishi is happy now. The Graham's "on the fly" VTA is heaven.

Other Source(s): STAX 006tii tubed HEAD amp with 404 Electrostatic earphones. This combo is simply breath-taking!! This amp is directly connected to the Power Plant with Sonic Horizon power cord.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Wireworld 'Atlantis II' speaker cables, Harmonic Technology 'Pro-Silway MK II' everywhere else
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Two "Signal Guard" isolation platforms, with a Mapleshade 4 1/2 inch solid block is used for isloation for TT.
Tweaks: PS Audio Power Plant 300/with Multiwave + Juice Bar/ Sonic Horizon Power chords
Room Size (LxWxH): 12' x 10' x 8' - 10'
Room Comments/Treatments: Cement slab foundation w/ wall to wall carpet/an arched acoustic tile ceiling
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): My first love is Classical. I do have a great collection of classical piano and Guitar on those silver discs, but for the most part, I spin vinyl far more often. I just love what the format offers. I paticularly love mono recordings. There's a certain weight to a good single channel recording that really is quite impressive.
System Goals/Comments: Not to think of the technology, but just enjoy the music.
System Strengths: Very musical.....and with the flea-powered 2A3 SET.....warmth...warmth...warmth!!
System Weaknesses: The bottom drops off quite a bit below 40 HZ, but I'm able to intergrate a cheap KLH powered sub to great effect on most recordings....without a hint of bloating.
Video/HT System: None
TV/Projector: Sharp 15' LCD Monitor connected to my DVD and VHS players. I've recorded about 15 years worth of 'Live from Lincoln Center' and 'Austin City Limits' on video tape. Although this format is 'Dissed' quite a bit, I think the sonics are quite spectacular.....and mostly analogue to boot!!
