Tweaks: You kiddin'? The whole freaking thing is a tweak
Room Size (LxWxH): 20' x 14' x 8.5'
Room Comments/Treatments: Room treatment is primarily 1' thick 3 lb. cotton insulation from Bonded Logic. This will eventually be covered with a custom binary reflection amplitude grating inspired by the work of James Angus.
Much time is spent on room tuning after a marvelous education on the subject by Paul Joppa, Paul Stubblebine and Bob Hodas
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): All genres are great, but the Blues rule
System Goals/Comments: Our goals have changed as we have developed a sensitivity for the stringent requirements of mastering studios. Resolution, tonal balance and a sense of relaxation are the goal.
System Strengths: I get to write this stuff off.
System Weaknesses: There's always something better in the oven.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Infocus 4805
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Bottlehead S.E.X. amp
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Straight 8 prototypes with Aurum Cantus ribbon tweeters
Sources (DVD/VCR): Toshiba SD-5700
Motorola DCT-5100

Other HT Gear: 93' homebrew screen - matte white paint with pearl and clear matte overcoats, black velvet border
Comments on HT System: Dedicated room is treated with a flat black ceiling and front wall, dark gray sueded side and rear walls, windows covered with light blocking and sound insulating panels.
