| Music Preferences and Comments: | |
| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Classic Jazz, Rock, Classical, Opera - just starting |
| System Goals/Comments: | Realistic clarity and balance, and leaves some of the inheritance in the bank! |
| System Strengths: | Nice soundstage, good level match, consistent sonic balance (bass improved with addition of refoamed Advent 5002s), AVR has Dynaquad-type ambience recovery for non-5.1 inputs |
| System Weaknesses: | Too many remotes, cable runs long due to projection TV, amp has no S-video in/out. |
| Video/HT System: Integrated | |
| TV/Projector: | Sony 51-inch widescreen Hi Definition - a winner! |
| Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: | See above |
| Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): | Advent 5002 in front, Baby Advent IIs in back, bass is great- no subwoofer required! |
| Sources (DVD/VCR): | DVD: Sony DVP-NS715P: Panasonic PV4465S (VHS HiFi) |
| Comments on HT System: | System is equally adept at music and movies - I think most "experts" are all wet when it comes to good movie sound in average-sized rooms. |
