Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, Jazz, Rock, Female vocalists. Avoid twangy Country Western and Hip-Hop
System Goals/Comments: Get close to the music
System Strengths: Transparency, detailed yet sweet, dynamics (macro and micro), slam (you'll know it when you hear it), soundstaging, lack of grain or glare, overall sense of musicality, and a glorious midrange with treble extension and serious bass
System Weaknesses: Let's listen to the new Duo 2.2s some more before filling this one in...
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Pioneer PD 505HD 50" plasma display (720p)
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Pass Labs Aleph 1.2, Pass Labs Aleph P
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Avantgarde Acoustics Duo 2.2
Sources (DVD/VCR): DVD
Comments on HT System: Went with a plasma display to preserve speaker imaging. Really more of a music system with the ability to view DVDs
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Computers, reading, travel, champagne
