Room Size (LxWxH): 24 x 13 x 8
Room Comments/Treatments: ASC wall panels
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Singer/Songwriter folk music, 80's, string quartets, some jazz
System Goals/Comments: To be able to close my eyes and feel like I could walk across the room and talk to the musicians between sets
System Strengths: Good imaging, smooth mids, quiet background - locks my attention on the music, but comforts me enough to let me relax into it. Soundstage is much better with Stratos in place - deeper and wider. Imaging is less focused but more natural. Low bass has power, but the speakers don't do it justice at this point.
System Weaknesses: Midrange prominence, not enough slam in bass
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Epson S1
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Outlaw Audio 1050
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Center: Cambridge Soundworks CenterStage Surrounds: CSW Surround II
Sources (DVD/VCR): Philips 642 DVD
