Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): those monster thingies you get at Tweeters....i guess i should play with this.
Tweaks: Well tempered arm dampened, and the arm rest removed. Arm rest installed on wooden block on the table base. Damped the clear platter with Dynamat Xtreme. Shero carbonfiber armtube with solid silver wire. A totally new grounding system in form of a swimming pool.
Room Size (LxWxH): 15 x 12 x 9
Room Comments/Treatments: Plenty of bookshelves with plenty of vinyl and books. I also have 10 rolls of fiberglass insulation wrapped in burlap behind the speakers.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, Jazz, and other junk :-)
System Goals/Comments: Get more transparency out of the system
System Strengths: Plays music with pretty good PRAT. I can get lost in the music without much effort.
System Weaknesses: all of it. But this is all i can afford right now.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Sony Bravia W series 46" LCD 16:9
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Some Yamaha thingy that does 6.1 or sumptin'
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Boston acoustics 5.1 low end set. Tiny cubes in the back tiny speakers in the front smallish sub.
Sources (DVD/VCR): Sony Blue ray player mid range, came free with the TV so ask no questions.
Comments on HT System: Fer cryin' out loud, it is good enough to watch movies, and was under $3000
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: I am a weekend woodworker, and a full time IT consultant
