Amplifier: Belles 150a Hot Rod 100wpc SS amp.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Full blown 'Mr.Pig' E.T. Foreplay
Speakers: Dynaudio Contour 3.0s in black ash veneer.

Italian ElectroAccoustic Systems Building (ESB) 7/08 3 Way floor standers. (1" silk dome tweeter/2" silk dome mid/10" cone woofer.

Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Alesis Masterlink 9600 4.3 gig HD PRO CD burner and a Denon 1600 DVDA/DVDV player.
Turntable/Phono Stage: None.
Other Source(s): Nakamichi RX-505 and a fully restored Dynaco FM-1 tube tuner w/STEREO board inside.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Vampire wire 12ga. ZIP. Sonic Purity (circa 1985) ICs from disc players to preamp. DH Labs BL-1 from tuner to pre and WireworldOasis IIIs running to and from the Nak. NBS ACIII/Serpent IIs on the Alesis and the Foreplay. PS Audio PowerLink PC on the Belles.

Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Monster 2500 mkII for all source gear. Belles straight into the .80 cent Taiwanese duplex.
Tweaks: Speakers up on stock spikes. Amp and source gear on top shelf of a Target rack. Foreplay on Navacom pucks. Alesis on Audioquest big feet rubber dohickeys.
Room Comments/Treatments: A reloading table, futon and the system, so just enough room to sit down.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Electronic, Reggae, Jazz, Classical, Joy Division, Stranglers, The Cure...etc.
System Goals/Comments: Room is small, but not too bad for 'kind of nearfield' listening.
System Strengths: Contour 3.0s have a very concise midband and treble. Bass isn't too shabby.
System Weaknesses: Not the greatest lower level presentation due to room constraints.
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Shooting/reloading ammo, spear fishing, sun, sports etc. The good life.
