Last Update: April 03, 2007 at 20:14:31 IP Address: 65.96.250.23
Amplifier: NuForce 8.02 monoblocks
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): MFA Magus A-2 (highly tweeked by Scott Frankland)
Speakers: Magnepan 1.6's
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Rotel RCD-1072
Turntable/Phono Stage: - VPI TNT-6 w/VPI JMW 10.5
- Shelter 501-2 cartridge
- MFA Magus phono stage

The VPI is sitting on a 180 lb slab of machine quality granite. The table gives me excellent sound staging and a very stable image, very black background.

Other Source(s): - Tandberg 3001A tuner
- Tandberg 3014A cassette deck - rebuilt by Stephen Sank
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: FMS cables
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): PS Audio P-300 power plant
Tweaks: Magus tweaked and rebuilt by Scott Frankland.
Room Size (LxWxH): 18 x 12 x 7
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Rock, Jazz, classical, Indian, more rock.
System Goals/Comments: Always trying to get the best sound from vinyl, improving room acoustics. Right now my system is very musical, can listen for hours without fatigue. The 1.6's are speakers you can listen to all day, interested in upgrading the crossovers at some point.
System Strengths: Musical, acuracy, fatigue free.
System Weaknesses: room - not acoustically in great shape but getting better. Ceiling height also low.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Panasonic
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Denon
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): NHT Super Zeros for center and surrounds, BA for fronts and sub
Sources (DVD/VCR): Pioneer DVD
