Last Update: November 19, 2001 at 02:51:05 IP Address: 203.177.0.176
Amplifier: Yamaha AX-570 @ 100wpc
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): None
Speakers: Tannoy Mercury M1, Tannoy Mercury M2.5, REL Quake
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Marantz VCP-500K, Sony LDP-A2
Turntable/Phono Stage: Garrard 6.301
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Qudos the Original, Cable Talk Talk 3.1
Room Size (LxWxH): 15 x 9 x 9
Room Comments/Treatments: I am using the long wall which I found out is the best config for my system - eliminates sidewall reflection. Backwall reflection is really not an issue. Working on room treatments right now. Already installed carpets and side curtains to kill light and sound reflections.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): 80's/Alternative Rock/New Wave, Folk/Country/Bluegrass/Blues, Classical, Jazz, R&B
System Goals/Comments: Least Cost with Most Performance.
System Strengths: Great with both music and home theater. Does not prefer any kind of music.
System Weaknesses: Costwise - none. As it is - could do some more with imaging; 70Hz boom
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Video: Sharp XV-315P LCD projector
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Chase HTS-1 Passive Surround Decoder!
Sources (DVD/VCR): Hitachi VCR
Comments on HT System: Tannoy M2.5 delivers great performance with its price!
