| CD Player/DAC: | Marantz CD48 to a MSB Link III DAC with 24/96kHz upsampling option. After X-mas I am getting a Monarchy DIP and Modwright upgrades and a MSB powerbase. That will complete my cd portion. |

| Speaker Cables/Interconnects: | Analysis Plus Oval 12 double run for biwiring. Clarity wires Harvest and Foxfire to my amp/pre/cd. Kimber Kable from my cd player to my dac to my pre. Then Kimber toshlink from my dvd player to my dac to my pre. Monster Cable S-video (SVI500SV 2m) to my tv from my dvd player. |

| Tweaks: | Made brass cones at work for my cd player. Also made speaker stands for my speakers at work. |

| Room Comments/Treatments: | My listening room is in the basement which kinda sucks. But it works for now. |
| Music Preferences and Comments: | |
| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Alice in Chains, Tool, Dave Matthews Band and other various alternative music. Light listening like Sarah McLachan, Jewel and Micheal Crawford. Also some older stuff like the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zepplin. Then theres funk George Clinton, Parliment, Funkadelics, Zap and Rogers, Gap Band, Kool and the Kang and Rick James. |
| System Goals/Comments: | To upgrade my exsisting 2ch. So after I upgrade my cd portion I am onto my amplifier. Then a subwoofer, and finally onto HT. |
| System Strengths: | I have pretty good imaging, timbre, decent amount of detail and over all coherence. My system is very musical so far but I know I can get more out of my B&W's so that why I am upgrading the weakest link my cd player. |
| System Weaknesses: | I need more soundastage depth from to back. Might be because my speakers are so close to the rear wall like maybe 10 to 12 inches. More bottom end also, a sub will help this matter out. |
