Coltrane, Monk, Adderly, Blakey, Basie... Newer jazz: Jaco Pastorious, Keith Jarret... Good Bass players: Scott Lafaro, Victor Wooten, Neils-Henning Oerstead Pederson (sp?) Classic Rock/Pop from the 70's-early 80's that I grew up with (Zepplin, Who, Kinks, Stones...) Elvis Costello, Tubes, Clash, Joe Jackson, Ramones, PJ Harvey... --No hair bands-- Nirvana, The Fall, Tori Amos, Sonic Youth, System of a Down, REM, Morphene... |
