| Room Comments/Treatments: | First order reflections are damped by bedding foam on walls, removing orchestral congestion at higher volumes. Sound wave diffractions off of TV are minimized by pulling Concertos in front of the TV plane, significantly improving the audio image. |

| System Strengths: | Thors breathe wonderful music: intimate, holographic, transparent, rich with delicate decays of notes, very crisp and quick. Imaging is surprisingly good despite the TV rack in the center. |
| System Weaknesses: | Did I mention the TV rack in the center :-)? ATI acceptable for home theater, but still scratchy, veiled, and fuzzy. Thor finesse lacks punch of solid state monozillas. Classe DACs are not state of art, much below the resolution of Thor. Cables might be silver. Concerto tweeters thin and vague. Velodyne awesome for home theater, muddy for serious stereo. Do I need more tweaks: cable lifters, amp racks, etc. etc? |
