Room Size (LxWxH): 48 x 18 x 10
Room Comments/Treatments: The room is a bitch, almost a poster example of a difficult listening layout. A simple rug would help, but I'm cheap.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Depends upon my mood, and since I'm pretty manic depressive the selection is by necessity expansive.
System Goals/Comments: I'd like to actually LISTEN to the damn thing more often.
System Strengths: Freaks-out the audio civilians on sight. Even more so with one listen (don't you LOVE the expressions they make? Too bad it always leads to the "how much does stuff like that cost" conversation).
System Weaknesses: I need livelier speaker cables to drive the already mellow Vandees; the Cardas/V2Ci combo feels a bit sluggish (then again, I'm used to almost a decade of SET/single drivers, so even fire truck sirens sound 'slow' to me).
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: 48" SONY Bravia XBR
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Nah.
Sources (DVD/VCR): Panasonic DVD0-S27
Comments on HT System: It ain't.
