Room Size (LxWxH): 13 x 20 x 8
Room Comments/Treatments: Room is open to a sunroom behind the listening position, and the dining room off to the right of the listener. Not the best.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): lively jazz, classical, alternative rock, and some metal.
System Goals/Comments: I want the system to sound "right" to my ears, and to relieve me of the almost compulsive desire to upgrade.
System Strengths: Soundstage like you wouldn't believe. Height, width and deeeeep.
System Weaknesses: Reveals crappy recordings, especially those CDs mixed for boomboxes. You know the ones, no dynamic range whatsoever.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Sony 36" Wega
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): GR Research Center channel with a Bybee filter on the positive terminal of the speaker's input.
Sources (DVD/VCR): ModWright DVD
Other HT Gear: Richard Gray RGPC 400S
