System Goals/Comments: | I wanted to go after the proverbial "straight-wire with Gain" and use the unique synergy that an OTL amp and Sound Lab electrostat can have. The A-S OTL amps have no output transformer and no circuit boards. There lack of hardly any circuitry means they produce music with great speed.
System Strengths: | One of the most realistic, quick, and clear sounds - very musical without losing much accuracy. Music has very good pace.
System Weaknesses: | The background was not as quiet as I would have liked, and not as analytical as I would have preferred. Living with those hot running Atma-Sphere amps can be a real challenge in the summer.
