Room Size (LxWxH): 18 x 12 x 7 1/2
Room Comments/Treatments: Carpeted floor. In some ways the whole room is the sweet spot. In a larger room (my former house) it was unmistakable.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): In one form or another I love it all - industrial, grunge, sludge, advant, 60's acid blues, motown, funk, soft brass, blues-jazz, some swing, 70's pop, etc. I have a love for independent labels & relatively unknown artists, I don't like swing-jazz or most classical.
System Goals/Comments: Just enjoy music that's all.
System Strengths: Everything was matched-up technically & it works perfectly. When playing certain non-traditional music there's an almost ethereal arrangement. The soundstage can be such as there are elements emanating from nowhere at all. The system handles heavier volumes flawlessly.
System Weaknesses: Without getting anal, none. It would be nice if the room was bigger.
Video/HT System: Separate
Sources (DVD/VCR): Toshiba SD-V291 DVD/VCR combo. Audio to the monitor (and to the main amp for movietime) via Y plugs.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Just a thought regarding system aesthetics: when form follows function it's always beautiful.
