Last Update: September 06, 2002 at 22:15:48 IP Address: 65.31.131.97
Amplifier: Dynaco ST-70
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Dynaco PAT-4 (soon to have upgraded phono section)
Speakers: Dynaco A-25
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: None at this time.
Turntable/Phono Stage: None at this time. (Looking at various Dual models)
Other Source(s): Dynaco AF-6 Tuner
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Nothing special - 16 guage Radio Shack speaker wire.
Tweaks: None yet.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classic 70's rock, late 80's/early 90's alternative rock, jazz
System Goals/Comments: Even to my un-audiophile quality ears this system sounds significantly better than all the "modern" gear I'd bought before I knew better!
System Strengths: When listening to jazz woodwinds, horns, and pianos sound just like the real instruments.
System Weaknesses: I wouldn't mind a little more volume when I want to really "rock out".
Video/HT System: None
