Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): ECLECTIC
Jazz/Rock/Pop/Indie/Reggae/Dance/Rap/Funk/World etc Virtually everything bar heavy metal
System Goals/Comments: To get as close to the master tape/performance as possible. More realistically, to enjoy the music and not listen to the hi-fi.
System Strengths: Musically involving.Natural top end for vocals and cymbals. Great top to bottom extention and very good integration. Good levels of detail, air, soundstaging and P.R.a T. No major flaws whatsoever. Finally a pretty well balanced system.
System Weaknesses: TT is (as TT's are) sensitive to VTA - not easily adjusted. If I was getting a new TT system I would make sure it allowed for simple adjustment of arm height during play.

Ultimate (horn)dynamics

I can never quite get the thought of owning some ultimate horn loudspeakers out of my mind. Have heard the AvantGarde Duo's singing at a dealer's and have not been quite the same since!

Video/HT System: Integrated
Sources (DVD/VCR): Pioneer DV757 multi format + ASL link
