Music Used (Genre/Selections): Jazz (Dianna Krall)

Clasical (Sarah Chang, Eroica Trio, Holst, Rimsky-Khorzakov)
System Goals/Comments: This is a reference system that I hope to test many many ideas/tweaks etc. Of course I have it mostly for musical enjoyment.
System Strengths: Deep Bass extension. Use of silver plated wires has openned up the mid-high to high end quite a bit.
System Weaknesses: Low-end gets a tad muddy at times. Recordings with extended mid-high to high range become unbearably bright at Louder volumes 90db+.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Samsung Tantus PLH403W 40" Widescreen LCD
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Yamaha RX-V995
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): 2 pairs of PSB 4Ts(main,surround); PSB 8C center; a pair of 12" DIY Subs
Sources (DVD/VCR): Toshiba SD-3109, Sony MDP333(LaserDisc), Dish Network
Comments on HT System: DIY Subs have got to go.
