System Strengths: The Cary/Sonos digital front-end is killer!!! I like the Sonos distribution a lot. The Cary uses an HDCD decoder. Tracks ripped to FLAC lossless retained the HDCD magic.

The BAT/Cary pre/amp combo together with the GamuT amp creates a transparent and detailed presentation. The Cary also does double duty as a coax input from Sonos ethernet distribution into my main system. I tend to listen to everything from FLAC lossless fed into the Cary DAC. I'm finding it hard to go back to plunking down a CD to hear one song. The Gamut D200 is a revelation of detail, bass extension, and bell-like clarity on top. It is non-fatiguing. Combined with the Dynaudios, music flows across a sound stage both wide and deep. The gear is a shade to the warm side of neutral. I think live music is a shade warm too. Think of all that wood in the violins, cellos, bass etc ...

It's paid for!!!
System Weaknesses: none - I'm livin' the dream :-)
Video/HT System: Integrated

Other HT Gear: Harmony One Universal remote - a great addition - one remote that works well for all devices.
Comments on HT System: Two-channel system is geared to music, however, video sound is excellent due to the Sony DVD/Bluray soundstage & imaging are 3D with (only) 2 speakers
