System Goals/Comments: Goal: deliver the music
System Strengths: This little Frankensystem delivers way too much quality sound for the money i paid for it: zero dollars. Inherited the receiver and speakers, which sound great but have white boxes--very Clockwork Orange. This system is absolutely "invisible," sounds better than many of my friends' $1000 + systems even with one busted speaker..
System Weaknesses: Did I mention the speakers were white? I'm thinking of buying a sleak little mini system, just to give the ladies that tingly feeling that the white speakers don't muster. One of the speakers has a rip in it, rattles a bit when turned up. Otherwise unnoticeable. This system would be plenty loud if not for the ripped woofer. I think I kicked it.
