Music Used (Genre/Selections): Mostly R&R, classic,alternative\collegiate
punk\newavy\grungy -power pop (new stuff like Hives, Vines,Stripes,Strokes
System Goals/Comments: I want "You are there" holographic imaging
after all,isn't that what stereo is all about? It also must be transparent at both higher & lower volumes as I don't listen as loud as I used to.
System Strengths: Very flexible & controllable, smooth & powerful,giving that impression even at low volume
System Weaknesses: Not the last word in clarity & smoothness.
Solid State IC op-amp syndrome. I need the
new Mac 2200 toob pramp!
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: A cheap Phillips 27" TV
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Powered Radio Shack spkrs (8wpc into 4" FR)
