Room Size (LxWxH): 23' x 16' x 14' - 10'
Room Comments/Treatments: DIY construction of sonic foam and perforated fibre boards on side and front walls, corner tunes at ceiling corners
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, love especially avant-garde jazz, punk rock enjoyed too but a big no to wimpy pop
System Goals/Comments: To derive the snap and tempo of music instruments when heard live. The spark, the desire, the undisguised, the raw and the unpolished must come through.
System Strengths: Near life size images coming from just a single driver is bafflingly amazing. The well known speed, transparency, detailing, drama and grandeur through the middle ranges from alnico Lowthers are there in spades, thanks to M Seddon's amazing horns
System Weaknesses: Well, they say Lowthers aren't for everyone and it's true
Video/HT System: None
