| Amplifier: | Aragon 2004 MKII power amplifier. |
| Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): | Monolithic Sound PA-1 preamplifier. Passive until 12:00 and then up to 6db of active gain. |
| Speakers: | Magnepan MMG with external generation 1 crossovers. This is a second order low pass crossover with Madisound sledgehammer inductors and mundorf caps. Boxes are dampened. DHLabs internal wiring. Speakers are mounted on "knick knack" stands 5 inches off of the ground and 88 degrees perpendicular to the floor. I have a pair of Bang and Olufson Form 2 headphones. Not the best sonically but they are cool as hell and hold their own in the under $100 category. Finally I have a pair of Ultrasone HFI-2000 headphones that are very nice and can be driven directly by any source. These are dorky looking headphones but they convey space like no other headphone I have heard. |

| Music Preferences and Comments: | |
| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Classic rock, jazz, new age, light rock. |
| System Goals/Comments: | To have high quality relatively full range music available. To have a system that sounds good with a wide variety of music and can take it to the next level of realness when asked. |
| System Strengths: | Resolution and naturalness. The system is always "on" which is actually nicer than it sounds. Another reason I have been able to live without tubes in this system. (Something I thought would never happen) |
| System Weaknesses: | No remote volume. Nothing below 40hz, poorly recorded music sounds flat. |
