| Room Comments/Treatments: | Some of my equipment is top notch, some is left over from my college days. My room could use a lot of help--I won't do another major upgrade until I can get that in order (ie, move.) In my opinion, the room is the most important part (next to the digital front-end of course!) |

| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Jazz, Rock, Electronic, Classical, World, even Rap. You name it. Janis Ian Breaking Silence, Alice in Chains Unplugged, Roger Waters Amused to Death, Radiohead The Bends, Massive Attack Mezzanine, The Cure Mixed Up, and Van Cliburn Beethoven Sonatas have been in heavy rotation for awhile now. |
| System Goals/Comments: | I look for speakers disappearing, bass clarity and depth, non-exaggerated but still sparkling detail, lots of texture, and an even warmness. Probably in that order. |
| System Strengths: | I really love the tone and smoothness of the system. Imaging could improve in all dimensions. Room is much too big for speakers but I can't bring myself to add a sub. |
| System Weaknesses: | I could definitely move into a better speaker. The Vandersteen 3A and Revel F30 have my eye right now. I want a semi-dedicated listening room with all the treatments too. |

| TV/Projector: | Toshiba 27AF41 27in "flat screen" |
| Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: | I use Tascam CD-RW700's A/D for TV outs to run digitally into Wadia 16i. DVD goes into the 16 at 48kHz, Laser Disc and VCR right into the TV. |
| Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): | 2 channel is fine for me. |
| Sources (DVD/VCR): | Pioneer Eliete DV-47A, Pioneer CLD-3080 Laser Disc, some sony VCR |
| Other HT Gear: | None |
| Comments on HT System: | HT is not a concern for me until unless I could get a proper seperate theater someday. A 42" or larger 16:9 HDTV is high on my wish list though. |
