| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Jazz (swing and vocal is best), funk, GOOD pop and of course some rock. I don't listen to much classical and virtually no opera. I have soft spots for: Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, NHØP, Tracy Chapman, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Ben Harper, Lisa Ekdahl, Pink Floyd and Supertramp... That proves my wide taste I believe. |
| System Goals/Comments: | I want the music to live and breathe... Triodes and vinyl are some of the main means. |
| System Strengths: | Transients are very good while keeping a smooth sound that doesn't give you listening fatigue. |
| System Weaknesses: | Very lean bass. The room is way too big for the speakers. I hope the coming TL's will solve that. A lot of unfinished projects... The LP playback system is only a primer... It shows some of what vinyl does better, but as a whole is no match to CD at this time. I have high hopes though ;-) |
