Amplifier: Bryston BP-60R/Belles 150A Hot Rod
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): McIntosh CR-7
Speakers: PMC FB-1 (soon to be +'s)
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Audio Refinement Complete (this needs a new DAC)
Turntable/Phono Stage: Music Hall MMF-7/Musical Surrounding Phonomena/Grado Platinum
Other Source(s): Computer/iPod/Kenwood KA-6500 tuner
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: MIT T2/Lamp cord/Kimber Kable 1030
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Separate circuits for front-end and amplification
Tweaks: I take echinacea/goldenseal in the hopes that I'll avoid getting colds.
Room Size (LxWxH): 17 x 10 x 8.5
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Everything but 'new country' with a focus on Jazz, Electronica and Indie Rock
System Goals/Comments: Something that will let me listen comfortably for extended periods.
System Strengths: Detail, imaging, clarity, timbre, bass.
System Weaknesses: Soundstage scale, dynamics. My digital needs improving.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Sony Trinitron 27"
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Panasonic XR-50 - or something
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Velodyne Deco + HGS-10
Sources (DVD/VCR): Sony, Sony (nothing special)
Other HT Gear: NAD cd player
Comments on HT System: It's crappy but it cost nothing and HT is not my bag.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Mountain and road biking, writing, movies, home repair. Oh yeah, and designing software, that\'s pretty cool too and it pays the bills.
