Room Comments/Treatments: Light fabric window curtains. Listening area is my living room which has large windows all around; Hardwood floors makes the room a little too lively. BIG center piece rug is on its way.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Genre = anything that touches my soul :) Jazz, R&B, Soul, Classical, female vocals !
System Goals/Comments: Upgrade CDP to Simaudio Equinox; Room treatement.
System Strengths: Warm side of neutral.
System Weaknesses: CDP hoping to replace in the future.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Sony Wega 36'
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Onkyo TXDS 797 for processing purposes only. Roksan Caspian 2 channel amp for surround rears.
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): DALI Suite 2.8 (fronts) Polk RTi38 (rears) no center speaker (don't want one)
Sources (DVD/VCR): Sony NS700p DVD
Other HT Gear: Monster HTS 3500 MKII(TV, DVD & Receiver)
Comments on HT System: Musical & enjoyable w/ movie soundtracks. L&R front channels connected to integrated amp; integrated amp connected to receivers front l&r channel pre-outs when viewing movies.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Golf; indie/foreign films; drinkin\\' Guiness & shootin\\' pool.
