CD Player/DAC: Original A8T. Chinese CD player with OPA and tube output stages.


Modified Sony DVP NS900. OPA627 and AD8065 OPA amps, LM317 regulator for DAC, Black Gate Super-E-Caps as coupling caps, damping sheets in enclosure and transport, IEC connector etc.

Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Speaker Cables QED X-Tube 300
Interconnects: DIY Supra, Raydex, Tasker, Cordial etc.

Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): DIY rack and DIY power cords.
Tweaks: Power filters, Statmat, Ceraballs or DIY Rollerblocks + innertube platform. Auricap tweak on CDP (using Arcotronics caps).

Room Comments/Treatments: DIY skyline and QRD diffusors. Acoustic panels and so forth.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Jazz, blues, R&B...
System Goals/Comments: Hope to finnish DIY tube preamp and power amps. Too much to do and too little time...
System Strengths: wide, deep, clear and transparent sound stage. Emotional and natural sound.
System Weaknesses: The speakers don't have enough capacity for hard rocking and ht use.
