Speakers: Subwoofer is a Sunfire True Subwoofer Signature (IC used to hook up sub is a Belden 89259 coax w/bullet connectors). 8+1 speakers total. Main two are Infinity Prelude MTS, all five other speakers are custom built from the ground up using Infinity's MTS Prelude CMMD drivers. Jeff Glowacki assisted me with layout design of the outboard crossovers and interior dampening of the enclosures. Extremely detailed and clean, very neutral, fast and dynamic speaker system. Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Modded Proceed CDD transport and Proceed DAP (DAC).
Other Source(s): Modded Samsung HD831 for DVD Audio and HT
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Goertz Python cables to the two Main speakers, Goertz MI-1 to the three center channel speakers. All using Furutech FP-201 Gold Spades and treated with Walker Audio SST inside the connectors. Rear channels are wired with Monster Z2 cables. Gold alloy jumpers used for the rear HT channels. DIY Active, dieletric biased single ended ICs (using JPS Alumiloy wire for the conductors) used for all 5 channels terminated with silver bullet plugs. Accuphase 110 ohm digital cable from transport to DAC. DIY silver digital 75 ohm cable terminated with silver bullet plugs from DVD player to pre. DIY dieletric biased balanced ICs (using JPS Alumiloy wire for the conductors) from DAC to pre. Monster M500DVI video cable from DVD player to TV. Single 13' run of Belden 89259 terminated with Bullet plugs for subwoofer to pre.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): All of this will change soon, but for now...One Chang Lightspeed 6400, 8 Hammond 193L parallel chokes. One Tripplite isolation unit for the DLP 61' TV. Currently Furutech FP-20 duplex outlets are used. Next week I will be hard wiring for all gear including the sub. DIY aluminum Hotbox with Furutech FI-10 Rhodium-plated IEC Inlet. Many Furutech FI-10 Rhodium-plated IEC Inlets within system. Atacama Audio 6 shelf Equinox XL Pro rack with chrome finish for the audio gear.
Tweaks: I will probably miss a few tweaks but here goes...Walker Audio SST on all connections, 28 Shakti On-Lines, a Shakti Stone, Walker Audio Vivid, Herbie's Grungbuster CD mat, Furutech PC-2, Audio Prism CD Stoplight. Varied exotic wood footers under every component including the outboard xovers, speakers (have four cones), etc. There are five Symposium Super Plus platform clones in the system (one under each component). Power Wraps used on all three front speaker cables. Sand dampening tweak used on one center channel speaker. All components treated with MusiCoat.
Room Size (LxWxH): 19 x 16 x 10
Room Comments/Treatments: Minimal room treatments. Just installed yesterday a set of three Argent Room Lens Clones, a large wool rug measuring 7' x 9'. The listening room flooring is all marble (the marble sits directly on concrete slab). There is a large 10' long leather sofa with a matching 4'x4' ottoman. Very live room, which makes it kind of tricky to tweak the 2-channel music portion of my setup.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): I listen to almost everything, but prefer Jazz and some Classical these days.
System Goals/Comments: tweaking and modding the system to get every ounce of performance I can out of it. Currently experimenting heavily with System tuning.
System Strengths: When used for HT (5.1 movies) the system flat out Kickass!
System Weaknesses: No weaknesses as far as I am concerned for HT (which is approx. 40% or so of usage lately). I am still working on the 2-channel music portion. Sounds very, very good, but not at the level I want it yet!
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Samsung HLM617W - 61' DLP widescreen TV

Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: See already mentioned
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): See already mentioned
Sources (DVD/VCR): Samsung HD-831 DVD player
Other HT Gear: Digital Satalite (Dish Network)
Comments on HT System: I love my HT system. Razor sharp picture with DVD movies. Speakers literally dissapear. The experience is very immersive visually and audibly. Extremely dynamic in HT mode, lol...I love my HT setup!
