Amplifier:	VAC Auricle Musicbloc monoblocks( now discontinued). I also have a restored Pilot 402 receiver in bedroom system powering some 1998 Rauna Tyr II monitors. This little 17W receiver made in 1959 is absolutely amazing. Recently replaced Rauna Tyr II with modified Reference 3a MMC speakers...much better punch and volume for movies. I did put some new acoustic foam around the Tyr II speakers and have them set aside when I want to listen to them. Updated bedroom speakers to original Reference MMC Master Control monitors with upgraded beryllium tweeter and crossover cap...Amazing speakers. 1/2016
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated):	Audio Horizons TP 2.0n tweaked with NOS Siemens Cca tubes. After experimenting with various output caps I went with Uptone Musicaps ...much more musically real.
Speakers:	Reference 3A Dulcet mini-monitors( with new factory upgraded mid/woofers) and new Be tweeter, sitting on custom heavy duty-stands( similar to osiris) filled with Star Sound Micro-bearing( 1/5th full), Audiopoints on bottom coupled to concrete floor. Recently upgraded the only tweeter cap with new Uptone Musicap. Replaced internal wiring with new Marigo Coppermatrix wire...I recently bought a pair of Acoustic Zen Adagio. I currently alternate with both speakers for variety.

Other Source(s):	Harman Kardon Citation Eighteen tuner custom-modded by Joseph Chow and RadioX...my main source of listening lately on NPR( 88.5 FM) I am in a project of upgrading e-caps and resistors in a Sansui TU9900 and Tu-X1. 9/2016 finished Sansui TU_X1 tuner refurbishment. Amazing tuner. Recently refurbished Sansui TU-717 and Philips AH6731. Both sound great. I have a lot of tuners now in my arsenal.

Speaker Cables/Interconnects:	Acoustic Zen Satori for bedroom system, AZ Absolute for main system Custom OCC copper power cord on tuner and Cd player, Von Gaylord VI, Von Gaylord ROTL Mk II( best interconnects I've ever had....recently upgraded to VG Return of the Legend 7000s)). Fusion Audio Enchanter Copper(2) amps, Audio Envy Studio Prestige on preamp) Upgraded AZ speaker cables to AZ Absolute. 6/2016
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.):	Two VH Audio Hot Boxes( sans filter caps)with special OCC power cords made by a gentleman in Colorado. Experimenting with new homemade OCC power cord with standard Wattgate male connector...very promising---8/2016
Tweaks:	Cryo'd Porter ports on all outlets, Machina Dynamica Promethean for amps,various cones,Herbie's feet for all components. Seven Alan Maher magnetic plug-in filters( amazing little ac line cleaners). Upgraded power filters to Alan Maher new magnetic designs. 6/2016

Room Comments/Treatments:	My room needs some minor treatment. This will be a future project for me. I do have some foam panels in corners and some walls. Room is fairly balanced with some nice liveliness without being overdamped. Perhaps a tad too much slap echo, but still better than being too dead.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections):	Various jazz,classical through my tuner,rock, pop,( I am versatile in that I like all types of music, except most rap.I'm 64(9/2016) and too old for this stuff.
System Goals/Comments:	Some tweaks in the planning, but not too much or too soon. Having fun upgrading vintage analogue tuners as a hobby.
System Strengths:	Musically accurate and enjoyable. Absolutely no listening fatigue whatsoever. Excellent dynamics and neutrally alive sound.
System Weaknesses:	I can't hear any weaknesses, except the lowest bass due to the limitations of the(monitor) speakers, but my ear-brain compensates for that. When I want really deep bass I listen to my AZ Adagios.

Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation:	Golf,walking my dog,playing with my grandkids, playing my Bach Strad trumpet..., tweaking my music system. Recently added a few cats to my family from a surprise litter under my porch. Chemical sales and service
