System Goals/Comments: My goal for the system is to accurately reproduce the actual performance (emotional content, intent, and sonics) recorded. I want to hear the heart, soul, or lack of it, that the artist put into the music. I do not expect every record or CD to sound like a live on-stage performance.
System Strengths: Pretty smooth and musical, balanced sound with good bass extension. Has a level of clarity where differences between recordings can be heard.
System Weaknesses: Bass: Though extended, it could be cleaner.
Mids: Not bad, but not as resolved or transparent as with my previous Acoustats.
Treble: Could be more refined and resolved.
Dynamics: The only other obvious weakness. Not necessarily worse than most systems, I just know it could be better with a dedicated room and AC lines (I live in an apartment).
Video/HT System: None
