Amplifier: VTL 100w monoblocks from 1992, run in triode
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Melos SHA Gold with MAR reference mods
Speakers: ACI Sapphires and ACI Force subwoofer

CD Player/DAC: ibook --> nixon usbchibi dac
Turntable/Phono Stage: Sota Sapphire TT, Sumiko MMT arm, Ortofon OM20 cart, Bottlehead Seduction (with C4S upgrade) phono stage
Other Source(s): Rotel tuner
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: mish-mash of diy and audioquest
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Salamander synergy rack; dedicated 20amp line straight to circuit box and whole-house surge protector.
Room Size (LxWxH): 26 x 16 x 11
Room Comments/Treatments: all first reflections (except for ceiling) are damped or reflected away from sweet spot using carpets, drapes, and furniture placement
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Rock (esp. from early sixties to mid-90's), classic jazz
System Goals/Comments: Gotta fix the uneven bass; waiting for right computer-based parametric equalizer
System Strengths: Solid, holographic imaging; no coloration; low noise floor; unfatiguing even for hours at a time; high WAF; great location as it's a big room and with little RFI and clean power
System Weaknesses: Not much slam; holography at times seems hyperrealistic rather than accurate; sometimes wish it were more forward, dense and aggressive for rock
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: College Professor. Have kids, so no other current hobbies.
