| Amplifier: | A Soderberg modified 50 watt Pure Class A per side Forte 4 that makes the Maggies sing quite nicely. |
| Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): | Counterpoint SA5 (thanx Dan the Man Shore), beautifully modified by Frank Mufich. |
| Speakers: | Modified Maggie MMGs (choke replaced with an air core and the tweeter fuse bypassed) augmented by a cute little 10" Carver powered sub |
| Sources: | |
| CD Player/DAC: | Sony BNC output to a Resolution Audio DAC. |
| Other Source(s): | Kathie singing sweet nothings to me. |
| Other Accessories/Room/Misc.: | |
| Speaker Cables/Interconnects: | Rad Shack stuff. |
| Room Size (LxWxH): | 20 x 14 x 8 |
| Music Preferences and Comments: | |
| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Nature sounds while sleeping. Piano music and rock and roll for get ready to listen downstairs prior to hearing real music live. |
| System Goals/Comments: | It is basically done. For very little cash output since these are left over components, I can not complain. |
| System Strengths: | Very coherent for 300 bucks paid for the Maggies and 200 for the Carver sub. |
| System Weaknesses: | Not for boom boom rock and roll. But then again who really listens to that in the throws of passion any more? |
| Video/HT System: None | |
| Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: | Travel, food, good liquor and wine, live music, AMC/TMC movies, sleep. |
