Amplifier: Krell FPB600, approx. 1800 wpc @ 4 ohm using 40 Amp dedicated circuit and homemade 4 ga. powercord.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): H-CAT P-12A line stage or passive fixed-value nude Vishay attenuators.
Speakers: VMPS RM/X Elixirs. Also use Sennheiser HD-650 and Beyerdynamic DT-990 headphones to monitor recordings.

CD Player/DAC: Ayre C-5XE
Turntable/Phono Stage: Walker Proscenium Gold Signature table, arm, and Motor Controller, Dynavector DRT XV-1, tonearm wired directly to Walker Reference Phono Amplifier, Second Edition Plus.

Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Acoustic Zen Silver Reference Mk II interconnects, Acoustic Zen Double Barrel speaker cables (10 ft. pair for biwiring), MIT Digital Reference for SP/DIF connection.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Two PS Audio P300 power conditioners with Multiwave PS2 outputs; one for the line stage and one for digital sources. Synergistic Research, and Kimber power cords.
Tweaks: Arcici Suspense Rack, Zoethecus Z-1D stand with Z-slab platform, Townshend Seismic Sinks and Bright Star Air Mass and Big Foot, Hubbell AC outlets, Kimber and homemade power cords. Amp is on a dedicated 40A circuit, Walker Extreme SST treatment on all metal connections, VPI HW-17F, and Allsop Orbitrac record cleaners.

Room Comments/Treatments: Relatively live acoustics, RealTrap Mondo, Mini HF, and Micro Traps, Room Tunes and minimal furniture, 25 shelves of Boltz record racks.

Music Used (Genre/Selections): Mostly rock and jazz
System Goals/Comments: Transparency, information retrieval, dynamic range, bandwidth extension, soundstage realism (the 'time machine' effect)
System Strengths: Dynamics, depth of image, resolution
System Weaknesses: Stage width beyond left and right speakers is compromised by side wall proximity despite first reflection treatment.
