Amplifier: McIntosh MC-60's
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): McIntosh C-20
Speakers: Acoustic Research AR-3's
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: None
Turntable/Phono Stage: Thorens TD-124 turntable, ESL S-1000 tonearm, Shure M97xe cart.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Radio Shack speaker cable.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, 60's and 70's Rock, Jazz
System Goals/Comments: I want to see how a system that could have existed when I was born can sound.
System Strengths: Turntable has virtually no wow, flutter, or rumble. Speakers are well matched to the amps.
System Weaknesses: The cartridge is not of the correct era, obviously. I have an old SPU to retip. The preamp is still in the process of being refurbished.
Video/HT System: None
