OakIris's Humble but always evolving System |

| Amplifier: | Art Audio Carissa Signature integrated tube amp for my main 2-channel system. Computer room system: Sound Quest SQ84 tube amp. Also have a SinglePower MPX3 tube headphone amp for use with my many headphones. |

| Speakers: | Cain & Cain Abby speakers;95dB; natural alder wood - beautiful looks and sonics, IMHO. Computer room system: Cain & Cain Noogis - a miniture form of the Abbeys, also in natural alder wood. Very nice indeed. |

| CD Player/DAC: | Main 2-channel system: Audio aero Prima MKII- it has tubes! I have also integrated an Audio aero Prima DAC into this system. Computer room system: Consonance Droplet 5.0 CDP. Very impressive sonically and visually, at least to me. |
| Turntable/Phono Stage: | Teres Audio Model 160 turntable with a Holfi Battriaa Special Edition phono stage. Upgraded my turntable with a lead-filled birch platter (formerly had a lead-filled acrylic platter) and a maple record clamp. The cartridge is a Zyx R100H and the tone arm is a Moerch DP-6. I have ordered a Wright Sound Company tube phono stage and step-up to replace the SS Holfi. |

| Speaker Cables/Interconnects: | 2-Channel system: Cardas UE15 speaker wires and Golden Cross ICs. HT System: Silver Audiopath speaker wires for fronts and center. Blue Jean cables for rears (this is a run of about 40 ft.) |

| System Goals/Comments: | My goal is to enjoy my music. I think I am done for now - very happy - until the next bout with upgraditis. |
| System Strengths: | I love the synergy of my systems - and they look very nice, IMO, too. |
| System Weaknesses: | Still in sonic bliss; haven't had the system together long enough to start criticizing it. :-) |

| Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): | My fronts, center and rears are all FJ Zwerg monitors - the fronts hqave the maple finish while the rears have the cherry finish. My sub is an Onix Rocket UFW-10. |
| Sources (DVD/VCR): | Denon DVD-3910 - for DVDs, DVD-As and SACDs. Very nice picture and great sound quality. |
| Other HT Gear: | Not gear, really, but I just set up a Sistrum 3 component platform for my HT system compnonents. I expect to receive the Sistrum speaker supports for my front main monitors next week. |
| Comments on HT System: | I don't have a dedicated HT room so my system is simple, still have no "room treatments" but I enjoy watching movies & TV with this set up. |
