Turntable/Phono Stage: Linn Sondek LP 12 w/Akita arm. Shure V15 type 5 cartridge.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Transparent Cable reference aes/ebu digital link, Stealth PGS-dac/pre, Transparent Cable Ultra speaker, Transparent Cable Reference RCA Interconnect
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Equi=Tech 1.5Q
Tweaks: All source equipment place on shelved built in cabinetry unit. Amp and power conditioner place midway to speakers located outside of room. “ Tweak” contact enhancement throughout.
Room Size (LxWxH): 23' x 12' x 8'
Room Comments/Treatments: Walk out basement, short wall placement of speakers, w/rounded corners (2’ radius), carpet, Sonex acoustical treatment at sides and between speakers, overstuffed couch, love seat w/dedicated listening chair pulled into position at sweet spot.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Rock, alternative rock, jazz, blues, vocal, some classical. Just about anything
System Goals/Comments: Upgrade Transparent Ultra speaker cables to Reference. Want to try a tube amp.

Change phone cartridge. Low to moderate listening volume.

System Strengths: Base response and imaging. Fair dynamics
System Weaknesses: Vocals can sound a little bright and forward on some cd recordings. Listening fatigue can set in. Want an overall warmer sound. Want more of the detailed nuances of the recording.
