| Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): | Audio Note Balanced Pre (kit). Output TX and 5687 driven like the Kit1 amp. Tube rectified--of course! |
| Speakers: | Cain & Cain single BEN and a single ACI Titan sub. |

| CD Player/DAC: | Audio Note CDT Two/II feeding Audio Note 2.1x Signature. Thinking about yanking out the output caps in DAC and putting in TX...will report back! The trans is simply amazing. |

| Other Source(s): | Magnum Dynalab MD90 tuner. Not bad, but it's no Audio Note! |

| Room Comments/Treatments: | Open floorplan of newer tract house makes for no standing waves! But, sure is a pain to find correct position so all is even through midbass. |

| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Rock, Alternative, Jazz, Serious, Folk. |
| System Goals/Comments: | Tone, texture, and color are what I've been chasing. I have more than ever, but c'mon...is it ever over?! |
| System Strengths: | Much more of things I am after with Audio Note gear than others I have tried. |
| System Weaknesses: | Not the last word on imaging/hf detail. Seems to be a tradeoff for these things to get the others I'm after. Like I said, I'm still searching! |
