Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Fairly eclectic but mostly rock, blues, soul, jazz.
System Goals/Comments: Always going for musical involvement - PRAT I guess, a sense of ease and space, and the beautiful texture of voices and instruments. Probably will aim for more refined power amplification, maybe tubes.
System Strengths: Vinyl systems are involving, fun, detailed, textured, eloquent, with great image depth, especially LP12. CD also has fun factor and boogies! Mac Mini sounds very good, especially with HD files.
System Weaknesses: Absolute bass depth missing. Will probably aim for larger subs, although TS 801's do a good job of levelling out most of the unevenness caused by the almost cubic room .
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: my kids & 4 grandkids, my partner, teaching, visual arts, photography, gardening, playing in my band, food and wine, enjoying ageing, lots more . . .
