Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Audioquest F1, audioquest and tara labs interconnects. Nothing too expensive.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Grado 125s, DAMN fine headphones. So fine you can hear the screw-ups in the recording/production of the music. Makes wonder why I listen to music, for the joy or to find the problems with better gear. Also have an $85 power bar from monstercable. I can't hear any of the manufactures' claims, have it to hopefully provide a bit of surge protection.
Tweaks: Two Beers and it's good to go.
Room Size (LxWxH): 14' x 10' x 8' to10'
Room Comments/Treatments: Nothing, it's a living space. I'll pull out the speakers when OWMBO is out.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): No opera or country. Must be my age showing, I love Canadian folk music, and anythig recorded properly.
System Goals/Comments: To get a more open sound, with more soundstage, more.....musicial. the 162 and 272 work great, My speakers are the hold up. Why does this cost so much?
System Strengths: Paid for in cash. Sounds OK too.
System Weaknesses: My speakers are limited, love the new MA RS8s. Must save money.
